Recent Happenings

This picture reminds me of when I was a kid we could make the biggest Lego messes, but did we have fun, Sydney and Kaden can do the same. Grandpa will be proud.
Kaden had a easter egg hunt in Preschool this week.

Spring!!!

Today is the first day of Spring, thank goodness. This week we also found our first tulips starting to pop up.

Happy St. Patricks Day

We hope everyone has a great day!

Kaden wouldn't participate in the picture so at least we got a cute one of Sydney.

We made these shirts with wax paper and bleach, I thought they turned out awesome.

Instructions:

1. Cut your picture out of wax paper.

2. Iron it on the the shirt where you want it.

3. Then dilute some bleach with water to a 1:3 ratio.

4. Spray it on the shirt, it does't take very much, rinse it and wash it.

Cup Stacking

This weekend Sydney participated in her first Cup Stacking tournament. Wind River Elementary has a tournament every year and it has taken us two years to convince Sydney to participate.
If you have every seen cup stacking it can be pretty intertaining, the kids start out with their individual events then they do what is called doubles, where the have to do it one handed with a friend and then they had parent child doubles.

Sydney doing double with her friend Taylor.
I have to say 5 hours later we had seen enough cups stacked.

Sledding

This weekend we had a great day of sledding, the weather was wonderful. Well high 30's but we will take what we can get.

Kaden and I were best at wrecking.
Sydney is not much of a dare devil, but when you get her out sledding she will try anything.
