Sydney had her first Band Concert. They did a wonderful job. They performed at the CWC auditorium.
Happy Thanksgiving
We had a eventful Thanksgiving. As Thanksgiving usually does it started the day before with cooking pies and whatever else could be done ahead of time. This year Sydney made the Pumpkin pie which is one of her favorites, and Kaden helped Kiley prepare the turkey which of course is one of his favorites.
Thursday morning we started the day off with a pheasant hunt, and a little bit of arguing, Sydney and Kaden didn't want to have anything to do with it. But by the end they had a good time.
Kaden fell into the river up to his knees and of course I had to get in to pull him out. Kiley didn't shoot anything, and Sydney just enjoyed being outside looking for birds. Afterwards we went home and had a great Thanksgiving dinner.
We have many things to be grateful for. We have been blessed with a wonderful family, which of course includes all of our Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. We have great friends, and of course the gospel.
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Halloween
Halloween this year was filled with lots of activities, Kaden had a fall Music Program, he also participated in the Halloween parade at school. We had a ward trunk or treat and of course the best part of all was trick or treating. This year we had a Star Wars theme, Obi-wan and Yoda raked in the candy.

Snow Again
It is October 4th and we just had our 2nd snow storm in a week. I guess the best thing about snow this time of the year is it doesn't stay around to long. We were able to build a few snowmen, Sydney built a snow owl and Kaden just had fun piling it up.
Cross Country
Sydney turnes 11
Sydney's big day has finally come.

Enjoys proving people wrong
Is a great student

and is extremely organized.
We are very lucky to have her in our family and can't wait to see what all she accomplishes in life.
Back to School
School has started again. Sydney has begun the big adventure called Middle School and Kaden has started 2nd. They both had first day jitters but we know that they will do just fine.
Kaden's Birthday
This week Kaden turned 7, as usual we started counting down about a month before.
A Little about Kaden:
He Loves Legos
Loves riding his bike and dirt bike
He has tons of energy
Going into 2nd Grade
Loves to keep his room clean
He also enjoys anything outdoors (Camping, Riding 4 wheelers, and fishing)
Our lives would be very boring without him!!!
Grandma Camp
Grandma Camp was a huge success. They all slept outside in tents, they were also divided into groups so that they could help with meals and clean up. Of course some groups helped a little more than others.
After the kids were all situated, we started out with a service project at the Happy Factory oiling cars for kids. We also were able to see how all the cars are made.
Thursday we went to the swimming pool.
Everyone was able to get in some good marshmallow roasting time.
We ended with a hike down from the "C" that everyone thought would only be about a mile and it ended up being 4.37 miles. They were all troopers and enjoyed the adventure.
Upper Silas
We spend a day fishing upper Silas Lake in the Wind Rivers. We started out riding the four wheelers to the Wilderness boundary and then hiked the rest of the way. Kiley fished, Sydney and Kaden enjoyed playing on the big boulder, they also got in a little fishing.
Mt. Rushmore
Kaden's only request this summer was to visit Mt. Rushmore. So on Tuesday morning we started the 6 hour drive. After being there about 30 minutes we had a hail storm come through and everyone had to find shelter. Sydney was convinced we were going to have a tornado along with the hail... She has always been our worrier... Thankfully she was wrong. It was a great and trip!
