Saturday Sydney had her first Track and Field Meet in Rawlins, WY. She ran the open 400m and 800m races. The temperature wasn't bad but the wind was blowing at a horrendous 55mph. It made for a long track meet, but we were excited to be able to be there to watch her compete.
Spring
The last month or two we haven't had anything exciting going on. No sports or school activities. No snow that has lead to anything fun, but sometimes that is just how winter goes. But every year I love it when I start to find those wonderful signs of spring. It just reminds us that winter does come to an end, and it is only a matter of time.
YA, for SPRING
Spelunking
Kaden got to go Spelunking on a school Field Trip, he is part an after school math and science club, and for the last month they have been studying caves. So last week they went on a guided tour to Sinks Canyon to explore a cave. He love it. The highlight of the trip was seeing a bat, and an underground river.
Fun in the Snow
After we got back from Cedar City we had a awesome snow storm, we were only suppose to get 1 to 2 inches but woke up to about 8 inches instead. So we got outside and made the most of it.
Cedar City
We headed down to Cedar City the day after Christmas to visit Family. We hit up our usual fun spots, we bowled a few games at the Bowling alley, lets just say we all need to work on our game. We ice skated at the new city ice skating rink. Spent time with Grandparents, and had quite a few sleep overs with Cousins. On New Years Sydney with the help from her cousins was the only one to make it to midnight
Kaden has been dying to try his hand a skiing, so we made the trek up to Eagle Point, McKade joined us on our adventure. The first run down the slope took about an hour and a half, there were a few times we thought about giving up, but after that it was all down hill, and by the end of the day he could make the run without crashing once. HE LOVED IT, and I think he is hooked.
