This last week kaden had his kindergarten music program. We never realized there were so many jungle themed songs. He had a blast every song had is own set of hand motions, and it is funny how much energy this age group can have. We were proud of him for working so hard.
Hard Work Pays Off
Kiley and Kaden decided that they wanted to build a water feature in the back yard. So a couple of weeks ago it started with the digging of the whole. Kaden was ready to finish the whole project the day they started it, but he didn't realize what was all going to have to go into it. So after a couple trips to Home Depot, about three trips out to find rocks and a lot of digging and moving of rock, it is finally complete. The look on Kaden's face was priceless when he was finally able to see the water fall in action.
Kaden as also turned out to be a little slave driver, making sure we all work as hard as we can and giving us a hard time when we sit down to take a rest.
It still needs a few cosmetic finishes like plants and according to Sydney Fish, but it has made Kadens day.
Easter
We had a great Easter! Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Jeremy let us raid their house for the weekend, which was filled with Cousins, Easter eggs, pinatas and the Hogle Zoo.
Saturday morning started off with a chili trip to the zoo. Kaden was determined to have his picture taken with every animal, and Sydney was determined to take a picture of every
animal.

After the zoo we headed back over the Lindsay's for a Easter egg lunch hunt. Which was followed by some Pinatas.

Sydney's Art Night
This week Sydney had Family Art's Night. First we listened to a wonderful recorder concert put on by all of the 4th Grade students. Then were able to wonder the halls of the school, to see all of the art work created by the students through out the year. Art is Sydney's favorite subject so she was very excited to show off all of her hard work.
Last few Weeks
The last few weeks life has been uneventful, Kaden finished up City Basketball, we were also able to attend quite a few basketball games cheering on the Wind River basketball teams as they competed at Region.
This weekend we were able to go ice fishing and snowmobiling with some friends over in Pinedale, WY. Sydney caught the first fish, and we were able to end with a grand total of 4 monster fish. Kaden and Hunter enjoyed being pulled on the sled behind the snowmobile. Once everyones hands and feet where cold we headed back to the cabin.
Then we ended the weekend with some sledding, we are aways able to get some kind of a picture of Kaden whining and throwing a fit somewhere at the bottom of the hill.
We have also started to see our first signs of Spring, green grass and flowers are right around the corner.
Basketball
Kaden started Basketball this week, he has been looking forward to it. He will get to spend 6 weeks with all kindergartens, learning and practicing. His favorite part was shooting baskets.
Cedar Happenings
After Christmas we were able to go visit family in Cedar. We had a great time. Kaden had quiet a few activities on his list of things to accomplish while we were there. First Bowling, and we were able to fit in two trips to the Cedar City Bowling ally. Which resulted in a few sour shoulders. Second was swimming, so with the Steffensens we had a great time at the Cedar Aquatic center. Last was sledding, even thought the snow was a little scarce we still managed to have a great time.
We managed to have a great time, there is nothing like time with cousinns
