Yellowstone!!!

Thursday we decided to take a trip to Yellowstone with all of the Steffensen clan and Grandma and Grandad. We spent alot of time in the car but the beauty of Yellowstone is always worth it. We started our day with a picnic lunch and Old faithful. Yellowstone has so many guysers and hot spring that is impossible to visit them all in one day.
The animals of yellowstone are just as impressive, I can not even remember all of the animals that the kids recorded in their animal guides, but the most impressive was a grizzly bear with her three cubs and the amazing Yellowstone Bison.

We were so excited to have all of the Steffensens and Grandma and Grandad. Thanks for making the long journey.

Martins Cove

This week we have had some wonderful visitors, Grandma and Grandad Chatfield and Aunt Mariam and her kids. So Tuesday while Kiley and Grandad went to work on the house the rest of us headed over to Sixth crossing and Martins Cove. We pulled some hand carts, visited a blacksmith shop and all of the kids compleated their activity books so everyone recieved a prize.

What a group!!!

Last day of School

Hip Hip Hooray for the last day of school, 2nd grade has finally come to an end. Sydney had a great school year, this year she had alot of firsts, she participated in the cup stacking competition she did jump rope for heart, towards the end of the year she also started riding her bike to school.

Today kaden and I joined her for lunch then we attended the awards assembly where Sydney received the mileage club award for walking more than ten miles during lunch recess, and she received an award for have the most reading points in her class. After we all headed outside for field day.

Kiley was on the other side of the field playing softball.

3 X 2A State Champs

They won again for their 3rd year in a row, and as tradition the Riverton Fire Department takes them for a ride around town flashing their light and blaring their sirens. And all the parent follow behind, doing the same.

Kaden has participated all three years, and this year was able to spot some pretty cool jeeps, hummers and sports cars from that height. Sydney took a break last year due to the loud siren but was more than willing to participate this year.

Construction has begun!!!

Well on Monday they finally dug the hole for our crawl space, so it looks like things are finally getting started.
